AMUOBA-Patna organized an impressive meeting in which I participated as a special guest and speaker. In my address, I emphasized that education is the only tool for the progress of any community, but unfortunately, the current trend is not satisfactory. I also cautioned against falling prey to the political gimmicks of so-called secular parties.
The gathering brought together alumni from AMU, Jamia, and JNU, making it a promising sign for a new and productive beginning. Its objective was to initiate a dialogue among intellectuals across every district, focusing on the issues and challenges faced by Muslims and other deprived sections of society, and to seek viable solutions.
Participants from every district of Bihar attended and shared their concerns and suggestions. It was resolved that meetings of intellectuals and scholars — especially the alumni of AMU, Jamia, and JNU — will be held in every district to discuss the social, financial, educational, and political issues of Muslims and other deprived communities, and to chart a constructive path forward.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the office bearers of AMUOBA-Patna for their splendid efforts in organizing this much-needed gathering. It brought together concerned individuals and intellectuals to openly discuss critical issues affecting the community and other marginalized sections of society.
