It is the general perception among the public that the majority of the provisions of this Act are against the basic philosophy and essence of Waqf, and also run counter to the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India.
These apprehensions must be addressed to protect the sanctity of Waqf properties, preserve religious heritage, and ensure that the constitutional rights of the community to practice and profess their religion are fully safeguarded.
